Christmas Day

I was so surprised when Landon slept in until about 6:30/7:00.  Rodney got up and made breakfast while the boys and I watched Mickey.  at last breakfast was ready, so we headed downstairs.

yes that is chocolate milk!
Before we ate breakfast we read the letter that Santa left for Landon and Lincoln.  And we took notice that Santa really liked the peanut butter bars we left him!

After we got done eating we got down to business, Landon was so excited and was eager to help us all open our presents too.

We had such a nice morning, I love spending time with my family.  I am so blessed to have to handsome boys and one amazing husband who I love so much.

My parents and brother Nate came later and we had a wonderful dinner with of course more presents to open.

I apparently forgot to take pictures because this one is pretty much all I've got.  It was an amazing day and I can hope that I will be blessed with more days like that.

Christmas Eve

My Aunt Kathy and Uncle Ron used to live in Park City, and every Christmas Eve we would go up to there house for dinner.  It's probably been about 5 or 6 years since they moved, however I have a cousin David and his wife Robin, their son, who live in Sugarhouse.  They were in town for Christmas along with my other cousin Chris.  So we ended up having lunch at Dave and Robin's.  It was so nice to be able to visit with them.  My extended family doesn't get together very often, most of them live in New England.

It was such a nice afternoon, I am so glad that we were able to visit with them.

Later that night we let the boys open up one present...you have to see what I found....

I know right, THE cutest jammies ever!!  If you can't read it, they say bear bottom, seriously they were calling to me from the rack.

After we made them pose for the camera, off to bed they went.  We did leave out treats for Santa and his raindeer.

Letter to Santa

Landon was so much fun this year, in fact the other day someone knocked on the door and he asked me if it was Santa.  Before Christmas he wrote a letter to Santa, (I don't know if it's bad luck but I don't want to forget what he asked for...He wanted Presents, I asked him to be more specific and he said polka dot presents. I just love him! )  We brought it to Macy's and put it in the mailbox for Santa.

I was kind of disappointed I really wanted to take Landon to Temple Square to see the lights.  It will be on the short list of MUST do things next year.
