Lincoln's Milestones

This one is not like the other for sure!  Lincoln is now crawling, going up stairs and pulling himself up onto everything.  It's funny, because Rodney and I will tell him no or call his name to stop him, he'll turn around and look at us, and give us a little grin.  What a stinker!

We went to the doctors for a check up and this is what we found out about Lincoln at 9 months.

Length: 28.5 inches
Weight: 20.61 lbs

He also now has four teeth and is getting two more on top.  The doctor told me that he is now free to eat anything that isn't a chocking hazard or honey.  We have recently had some luck with food, but he is not nearly as good as an eater as his brother.

One last little thing, he's a tummy/side sleeper like his Mommy!

I love his personality and so happy that he is part of our family, trouble maker or not.

He's asleep

Landonisms

I can't tell you how much I have enjoyed watching Landon grow and learn.  He is always surprising me with the things that he is saying, and for a while now I've wanted to preserve some of those here.  I've missed out on doing this early on when he was first learning how to talk and what to say, but here are some of the ones that I remember:

Goke = water or milk, maybe even anything in liquid form

And that's all I got, from this fabulous memory of mine.

Some of the things that he says now, that I love:

Alligator = Elevator
Bastic = Basket
nola bar = granola bar
Wandon = Landon
Wincoln = Lincoln

That's Beautiful, I love you, You're my friend, I'm so proud of you.

About two months ago we were driving and he said "I'm so proud of you Mom!"

Last week we were at Costco and they were handing out samples, as we passed one he asked if he could have some, the were out so we kept walking.  The next station was sampling Folgers Crystals coffee, he asked for some and I told him that we don't drink coffee and that he probably wouldn't like it very much.  He proceeded to say "I LOVE COFFEE Mom!"  I just smiled and laughed a little and said "oh yeah?"

The other day we were going to an appointment and He said "Mom my egg hurts."  He was pointing to his throat.

He also loves to play video games on the computer, as soon as I get it on he tells me to go away, that he is working.

I love him so much, and am so blessed to have such a sweet little boy to spend my days with.

Easter Fun

Playing a little catch up here...Easter was fun.  I found something for us to do on Pintrest.  It ended up being mostly me, but it was still fun.  We just made a salt dough, rolled it out and used an Easter egg cookie cutter.

Landon took this picture

He was so excited to get them out.
I guess I didn't take any other pictures of the eggs, We just painted them and hung them up on our tree in the front room.

Let me just say that what was posted on Pintrest was a little nicer, they had a vase with some branches and the eggs were hanging from the branches.  If any of you have been to my house you know that the trees we have, do not have branches strong enough to hold the weight of the egg, so I improvised.  Landon told me it was Beautiful!

For the Actual day of Easter, the Easter Bunny hid eggs for Landon. (Which he filled back up with candy for days after and re-hid the eggs.)  We headed to my parents after church for a nice dinner.  My Grandparents and two of my cousins were in town.  So it was nice to visit and catch up.
